Its enormous strength results from the hydraulic transmission of the 9mm pump piston to four 16/17mm caliper pistons and the exceptionally high mechanical transmission ratio created by the lever. The exceptionally high mechanical transmission ratio due to the lever geometry minimizes the finger force required even on the steepest chutes. The 7075 aluminum CNC-milled brake calipers with optimized steel yoke bolts ensure high caliper stiffness. In combination with the Goodridge steel flex or Kevlar hoses installed, this results in the enormous rigidity of the overall system, which keeps the power in check.
