Frequently asked questions

Do you fix bikes?

Yes! We service and repair all brands of bicycles. We have over 30 years combined experience in the workshop. Bringing a wealth of experience to the table, we specialize in servicing and repairing bicycles from all brands in our workshop. Our mechanics aim to provide the highest standard of servicing to ensure that you get the most out of every ride. 

Do you service Electric Bicycles?

Yes! We service all Australian road legal electric bikes. We are well versed and experienced in Bosch, Shimano, Fazua, TQ, Bafang ebike systems.

Do you take bookings? How long will my repair/service take?

You don't need a booking at Jonny Sprockets! We currently work on a "first in, first served" model rather than taking bookings. Most services are completed within 48hrs and many basic repairs (such as puncture repairs) are completed the same day. If you are from out of town or are in a hurry, please let us know your coming and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

How often should I get my bike serviced?

It all depends on how often your bike gets used, and how you use it. We recommend having your bike serviced annually for peak riding performance. If you're pushing boundaries or tackling tough trails, you may need more frequent maintenance. Focus on preventive care to prevent trail setbacks and expensive fixes.

Do you service electric scooters, electric motorbikes or my DIY e-bike?

Sadly, we do not. Our infrastructure does not support these repairs.

Do you build bikes from a box? Can you install parts I have purchased elsewhere?

Yes, we are here to support you in installing parts you have acquired from other sources or assembling a bike from online or department stores. Don't hesitate to reach out to us first, as we may have some fantastic deals on parts!
