IceToolz professional chain tool racing chain bicycle

This patented IceToolz chain tool is a professional chain tool suitable for all common derailleur chains, whether Shimano®, KMC®, Taya® or another brand. The IceToolz chain tool is equipped with a protective cover and an option to break off the shear pin neatly. The chain tool is comfortable to hold due to the ergonomic handle. Besides, the long pins on the turning part of the chain tool ensure that little force needs to be applied. This IceToolz chain tool is made of Cr-Mo quality steel. The IceToolz article number of this chain tool is 62M1.

This IceToolz chain tool is a professional chain tool that is often seen in bicycle workshops due to its ergonomic design. The chain tool is provided with a recess in the pivot pins with which the breaking pin of the chain can be broken off neatly after it has been fitted. All in one tool. The IceToolz chain tool is also equipped with an extra protective cover that prevents the chain from coming loose. Pressing the guard onto the chain while using the chain tool will keep the chain in place. As a result, the pin of the chain tool is always perpendicular to the chain pin to be driven out, which prevents the pin of the chain tool from breaking off. The chain tool is often used in combination with the chain disassembly aid (IceToolz part number 62H1).

After placing the chain disassembly aid, the pin of any chain link can be pressed out with the help of this chain tool. Make sure that the chain tool pushes the pin out far enough to loosen the link, but not so far that the pin is also pushed out of the outer link. The chain can be bent slightly when the chain tool has pushed the pin out (almost) far enough. If a missing link is used, the IceToolz chain tool is a solution for mounting the missing link.
